The organisation has been continuing its efforts to accomplish its second goal. To this end, the non-profit organization has been renamed Academy of Lyric Art Maria Callas, named after one of the most globally acclaimed and influential opera singers.

After several years of efforts, in 2018, the listed building of 61 Patission Street, where Maria Callas lived, is now under a long-term lease to the Association. The building belongs to the Unified Social Security Fund (EFKA).
